14389 ΘD, the Seventh Abyssal Rift Crusade opens with a surprise attack after three soul-crushing centuries. An infamous warlord is brought back from the dead for a final monumental task—destined to engulf the world, cross the plains, and reach the stars.

If this is your first visit to the Archives of the Royal Coalition, this account of the Other Side (and returning from it) is a good sample of the writing style employed here.

If you haven’t heard much about the Swords, here’s a vignette you can read and not have to be acquainted with the names and locations. I haven’t counted the words, but each entry is about 5,000.
